| Comyn
Ching is the UK's leading name in radiant heating, with well over a century's
experience. The company's reputation is built on the quality of its manufacture
and its skill in application.
The unique Solray system offers practical, reliable and cost-effective solutions for today's most demanding buildings. The Solray design incorporates waterway grids within flat panels, which can be manufactured from a range of materials. The panels are formed into a variety of shapes to create unobtrusive and aesthetically attractive heating and cooling systems. Solray's panel system combines radiation, conduction and convection to offer excellent heating or cooling performance and value. Water, steam or electricity are the mediums used to provide the panel output. Solray's specially designed panels offer maximum heat transmission with the minimum of surface temperature differentials. Simple to install, panels can be produced in aluminium, steel or other decorative materials with flush-fitting easy to clean surfaces. They can also be supplied in a range of finishes to blend into or enhance any building interior. Unlike most traditional heating systems, Solray panels take up little or no floor space, thus maximising any floor lettable area. The panels can be positioned on walls, placed within suspended ceilings, or even installed within the floor itself. For demanding applications, such as hospitals, schools, prisons or secure units, inaccessible placement and robust construction makes Solray the most popular choice in the market today. All Solray systems are designed and manufactured to the highest standards, and the panels are fitted by the company's own team of specially-trained and experienced engineers. This enables Solray to assure quality and reliability, even on the most fast track programmes. With a proven track record and responsive technical support service teams, Solray systems offer a lifetime's performance with the minimum of maintenance Comyn Ching is a founder member of the EMCP established in 2003, this association of European radiant Panel manufactures were formed with the sole intent to further raise the standards of radiant panels manufacture. All members of the association will comply with the EN14037 which was developed in a effort to create an approved test procedures and conditions for the measuring of the radiant heat output from the panels. It should be noted that the only test centres currently able to test to the new standard are the WSP test centre in Stuttgart & University of Stuttgart. |
