Solray Radiant Panels from Comyn Ching & Co have lived up to their reputation as the premier providers of modern space saving, energy efficient heating, with a new installation at Belfast Royal Academy, one of the city's top Grammar Schools.

Belfast Royal Academy was founded in 1785 and is the oldest school in the city. The School, which has up to 1,600 pupils on roll, is a large co-educational, non-denominational day grammar school with strong academic, musical and sporting traditions. In the past 25 years, Belfast Royal Academy has undergone many modernising building projects including the refurbishment of 10 new science laboratories, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool as well as a new Sixth Form Centre. In this latest refurbishment project, Solray Radiant Panels have been installed as part of key renovation works to five science laboratories.

"Solray came to us with the highest reputation and have proved an excellent choice for this school installation. They perfectly fulfilled the two fundamental criteria for the job; to save on space and produce energy efficient heating," explained Mike Anstey from project M&E consultants, Taylor & Fegan.
